Terms of Use — Scanary AI

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Scanary AI mobile application ("Scanary," the "App") provided by Kode Foundry ("we," "us"). Please read them carefully.

01Acceptance

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

02License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.

03Subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription ("Scanary Premium"), offered as:

Weekly — $4.99 per week.
Annual — $39.99 per year.

Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

04Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price above. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

05AI features & your content

AI features send document text to our AI provider to generate summaries, extractions, and answers (see the Privacy Policy). AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for convenience only. It is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You are responsible for verifying results and for the documents you process. You retain ownership of your documents; you grant us the limited rights needed to provide the features you use.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App unlawfully; scan or process content you have no right to; attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service; or use it to infringe others' rights.

07Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its trademarks are owned by Kode Foundry and its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights to our branding except as needed to use the App.

08Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that OCR or AI results will be accurate or error-free.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kode Foundry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Kode Foundry's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law.
